MAT – Museum of Art and Time

It contains a rich collection of works given by the most important families of Clusone and it’s located in the fascinating and precious frescoed rooms of the Marinoni Barca

The MAT “Museum of Art and Time” offers to its visitors the opportunity to admire paintings, drawings and sculptures by local and non-local artists.

Moreover, in this palace, time is marked by the tower clocks from every era, that belongs to the Gorla Collection entrusted to Clusone by the Province of Bergamo. Unique works of ingenuity and creativity that the city of Clusone wants to preserve.

Families and schools will find many educational activities to learn the curiosities and the history of this extraordinary city.

Curiosity: Outside the MAT you can admire a group of three giant sequoias that have a circumference of 6 meters and a height of about 25 meters. Certainly, they will catch your attention!

Driving directions: we recommend you to park in Dante Alighieri Road, near the Garden Cinema. Once you have parked your car, proceed on Dante Alighieri Road towards to Giorgio Gusmini Avenue for 100 meters. Continue on Torquato Tasso road for another 100 meters and then, turn left and take Clara Maffei Road: the museum will be on your right.
