Palazzo Comunale
Built as a defensive palace for the lords of Clusone around the year 1000, the Palazzo Comunale overlooks the Piazza Orologio with its imposing stone arches.
The frescoes on the exterior are an important historical testimony and visual documentation of significant periods in the life of Clusone and its territory.
Directions: The historic Palazzo Comunale is in the very heart of the city. To get there, we suggest parking on Via San Marco (Piazzale del Sole) then walking down the street to Piazza dell’Orologio. Continue along Via S. Marco then take a right onto Via Lattanzio Querena. Continue into Piazza Baradello then turn left to reach Piazza dell’Orologio.
