Cycle path in seriana valley

The Seriana Valley cycle path is a unique opportunity to cycle surrounded by nature, woods, bridges and hydroelectric plants.

The cycle path of Seriana Valley consists of two sections: the first follows the route of the old Seriana railway along the Serio River for about 32 kilometers. This section joins the city of Clusone with Ranica. The first part, up to Albino, is flanked by a parallel path that starts from Villa di Serio and is intersected with the main cycle path in different points. The only particularly difficult point is located in Ponte Nossa, where you can feel the difference of height between the Serio valley floor and the Clusone-Presolana plateau.

The second itinerary connects Clusone to Valbondione for a distance of about 28 kilometers. This section of the cycle path is more challenging and leads to a maximum altitude of about 900 meters, but at the same time offers stunning panoramic views thanks to the characteristic mountain villages with stone walls and slate roofs.

Finally, to enrich the offer, over the last years some links have been created to get from Clusone to Castione passing through the villages of Onore, Rovetta and Songavazzo.
