Family Tour

It’s a simple tour specialized for families and for those who are approaching cycling for the first time. It’s a journey to discover the plateau of Clusone and its naturalistic and artistic heritage.

The starting point is situated in the heart of the city, more precisely in Baradello Square in the historic center.

The route begins with a slight slope that cross the village until the intersection with F. Fogaccia Road, where, as you turn right, you take a descent of about 200 meters. From here, you will pass by the Fogaccia Palace, then at the next intersection turn left and at the end of the street, take the left again. When you arrive at the pedestrian crossing, you must cross it by getting off the bike. At this point you are out of the historic center and you can continue on the bike.From here, take the road that leads to the cemetery and, once you reach the stop sign, cross the road taking the asphalted pedestrian path in south direction for 50 meters and then again cross the road. Starting from this point you have the possibility to ride near to a large area next to the street that will take you to the underpass and then follow it until you cross a chapel, from which the cycle path starts again.

Once the cycle path is finished, turn right and continue for 200 meters until you reach a small group of houses and then continue on the paved road between the fields of Clusone, this road will leads you to the locality “La Spessa”. After passing the pizzeria “La Spessa”, turn left and cycle for one kilometer surrounded by the cultivations of the plateau. Then you reach the last part of Seriana Valley cycle path, where you can find a picnic area and a playground on the slopes of Crosio Mount.

Once you arrived at the end of the cycle path, turn right at the stop sign and then reach the underpass that takes you back to the historic center, passing through Paradiso Square, Uccelli Square and finally you will arrive in Baradello Square, where the ring closes and the fantastic tour finishes.

The route takes place for the most part on asphalt, interrupted by short stretches of dirt road with a regular surface.
